Quick Start Guide
Getting started with CS2.TEAM is quick. We use Steam authentication so there's no email or password required. You'll need a Steam account — if you don't have one, create a Steam account here.
Sign in with Steam
- Click the Sign in with Steam button on the homepage
- You'll be redirected to Steam's secure login page on steampowered.com
- Enter your Steam credentials (we never see your username or password)
- Authorise CS2.TEAM to access your basic Steam information
- You're in — your account is created automatically on first sign in
Yes. CS2.TEAM uses Steam's official OAuth 2.0 implementation. You sign in directly on Steam's own login page — we never see your username or password. The only information we receive is your SteamID64, which we use to fetch your publicly available Steam data (display name, profile picture, game stats).

Create Your Profile
A complete profile helps others understand who you are and whether you're a good fit — all fields are optional, but the more you fill in the better your matches will be. Click your player card or avatar at the bottom of the sidebar to view and edit your profile.
Profile Information
- Display Name — Automatically pulled from Steam, but you can customise it
- Quote Write a short quote that will appear on your player card
- Bio — Write a short description about yourself and what you're looking for
- Location — Select your country
- Languages — Select the languages you communicate in
Your Steam profile must be set to public for stats to sync correctly. Go to your Steam Privacy Settings, set Game details to Public, then return to CS2.TEAM and bump your profile.
Connecting Accounts
Steam is connected automatically. You can link additional accounts from your profile settings — each one unlocks extra functionality:
- Discord — Your username appears on your profile so others can contact you directly, and unlocks the Discord player card design
- Google — Adds a backup login method for account recovery
- X (Twitter) — Displays your handle on your profile
- Enjin Wallet — Unlocks the Enjineer holographic player card and avatars
To connect, go to profile settings and click Connect next to the account. Enjin Wallet uses a QR code via the Enjin Wallet app.
We strongly recommend connecting at least one additional account such as Discord or Google. If Steam is offline or you ever need to recover access, a linked account ensures you're never locked out.
Bump Profile
Once your profile is ready, click Bump Profile to push yourself to the top of the player discovery page. Players and teams browsing for recruits will see you first — so keep an eye on your messages. Bumping also refreshes your CS2 stats, so your profile always reflects your latest performance. Bumping is available once every 24 hours, and consecutive bumps build a streak that's showcased on your profile.
Find Players
Head to the Discover page to browse players and teams. Use the filters to narrow by rank, region, language, role, and playstyle. Click any player card to view their full profile before reaching out.
When you find someone worth keeping an eye on, follow them — you'll get notified of their activity and they'll appear in your activity feed. When you're ready to connect, reach out via their preferred contact method shown on their profile, send them a message directly, or contact them through their linked Steam or Discord.
Find Teams
Browse teams on the Discover page and use the filters to narrow by region, rank range, and recruiting status. Click a team card to view their full profile — including their description, current roster, open spots, and any requirements to join.
When you find a team you're interested in, click Request to Join and optionally add a message introducing yourself. Teams can also invite you directly, in which case you'll receive a notification and can accept or decline from your dashboard.
Create a Team
Creating a team requires a CS2.TEAM PRO subscription.
If you're looking to build a roster rather than join one, you can create your own team on CS2.TEAM. Set up your team profile, define your requirements, and start recruiting players who fit.
See Creating a Team for a full guide.
