Finding a Team

The Team Finder is the heart of CS2.TEAM. It has two boards:

  • Teams — recruitment ads from teams with open spots
  • Players — players who are looking, so captains can scout directly

The finder is the front page when you're signed out; once signed in, your home page becomes your dashboard and the finder lives at cs2.team/finder.

Filters

Narrow either board with filters:

  • Region — Europe West, Europe East, North America, South America, Southeast Asia, Oceania, Africa, China
  • Roles — Entry, AWP, IGL, Lurker, Rifler, Support, Coach
  • Playstyle — Competitive and/or Casual
  • Languages and Country
PRO filters

Advanced filters — CS2 Premier rating range, FACEIT level range, and hours played — are a PRO feature. Free accounts get the basic set above.

Results are ordered by recency — teams that recently created or bumped their ad appear first.

Reading a Recruitment Ad

Open a team to see its full page: roster and in-game roles, bio, country, links (Discord, website, Steam group), and its recruitment ad with:

  • Open roles — the positions the team wants to fill
  • Requirements — any of: Premier rating range, FACEIT level range, minimum hours played, region, country, languages
  • Playstyle — the vibe the team is recruiting for

Requirements are the team's stated expectations — the apply form will show you how your synced stats compare.

Applying

  1. Open the team's page and click Apply
  2. Pick the role(s) you're applying for (optional)
  3. Add a short message introducing yourself (optional, up to 2,000 characters)
  4. Submit — the team's owner gets notified

The owner reviews your application and accepts or rejects it. Either way you'll get a notification (the bell in the navigation). If accepted, you're added to the team's roster immediately.

Joining is by application only

There is no instant-join or invite system — every spot on a roster is filled through an application the owner approves. If a team you want to join isn't recruiting, reach out through the contact links on their team page (Discord, website, or Steam group).

Tracking Your Applications

Your outgoing applications live at cs2.team/applications. From there you can see each application's status and withdraw any that are still pending.

A few rules to be aware of:

  • You can be on at most 5 teams at once (owned + joined)
  • If a team rejects your application, there's a 14-day cooldown before you can re-apply to that team
  • Free teams can hold a limited number of applicants (50 in total) — if applying fails, the team's inbox may be full

Getting Scouted

Appearing on the Players board is how teams find you. Make sure your profile is complete — roles, playstyle, languages, country — and that your stats are syncing: a profile with a verified Premier rating and FACEIT level gets far more attention than an empty one.
