Profiles & Stats

Every CS2.TEAM profile is built around verified stats — numbers fetched from official and trusted sources, never self-reported. This page explains what's on a profile, where the data comes from, and how to fix it when something isn't syncing.

What's on Your Profile

Your public profile lives at cs2.team/player/your-url and shows:

  • Identity — display name, avatar (from Steam), country flag, bio, languages, and your primary team's tag
  • Roles & playstyle — the positions you play and whether you're looking for Competitive, Casual, or both
  • CS2 stats — Premier rating, FACEIT level and Elo, total hours played, recent two-week hours, and a performance breakdown
  • Links — your Steam profile, FACEIT profile, and Discord username (if connected)
  • Profile views — how many people have viewed your profile; PRO members also see who

None of these are editable — that's the point. Teams filtering the Team Finder by rating or FACEIT level can trust what they see.

How Syncing Works

Stats refresh automatically: whenever someone views your profile and your stats are more than ~12 hours old, a background sync fetches the latest numbers. There's nothing to trigger manually — play, and your profile keeps up.

Stats not showing?

The most common cause is Steam privacy. Your Steam Game details must be Public:

  1. Open your Steam Privacy Settings
  2. Set My profile and Game details to Public
  3. Revisit your CS2.TEAM profile — stats sync on the next view

FACEIT stats only appear if you have a FACEIT account linked to the same Steam account. Premier rating requires recent Premier matches with data available on Leetify.

Editing Your Profile

Everything editable lives in Settings:

  • Display name, bio, languages, roles, playstyle — change freely
  • Custom URL — your cs2.team/player/... link (lowercase letters, numbers, hyphens)
  • Country, gender, date of birth — these gate tournament eligibility, so after your first save each can only be changed once every 14 days
  • Privacy — opt out of the supporter leaderboard; PRO members can additionally enable Browse anonymously so their profile visits don't appear in view analytics

The Verified Badge

Some players and teams carry a verified badge. It's granted by CS2.TEAM staff to notable players, teams, and partners — there's no application form. Verified stats, on the other hand, are what every profile has by default.
