How we keep you safe on CS2.TEAM.

Your Data​

What data do you collect?​

We collect:

  • Steam profile info (name, avatar, game stats)
  • Discord connection (username only)
  • Profile information you provide (bio, preferences)
  • Usage data (to improve the site)

What data do you NOT collect?​

We never collect:

  • Your Steam password
  • Your email address (unless you provide it for support)
  • Payment information (handled securely by Stripe)
  • Private messages

Can I download my data?​

Yes, go to Account Settings → Download My Data to get a copy of all data we have about you.

How do I delete my data?​

Go to Account Settings → Delete Account. This permanently removes all your data within 30 days.

Privacy​

Who can see my profile?​

  • Public profiles: Anyone on CS2.TEAM can see your profile
  • Hidden profiles: Your profile won't appear in searches, but direct links still work

Can people see my real Steam profile?​

Your Steam profile link is only shown if you choose to display it. We show your CS2 stats but not your full Steam profile URL by default.

Can teams see my personal info?​

Teams can only see the information on your public profile. Your email and other personal details are never shared.

Reporting & Blocking​

How do I report someone?​

  1. Go to their profile
  2. Click the Report button
  3. Select a reason
  4. Add details about the issue
  5. Submit the report

We review all reports within 48 hours.

What can I report?​

  • Harassment or toxic behavior
  • Fake profiles or impersonation
  • Spam or advertising
  • Inappropriate content
  • Cheating/boosting services

Can I block someone?​

Yes, click Block on their profile. Blocked users:

  • Can't see your profile
  • Can't contact you through CS2.TEAM
  • Won't appear in your searches

Account Security​

How is my account protected?​

  • We use Steam's secure OAuth for authentication
  • We never store your Steam password
  • All data is encrypted in transit
  • We don't share data with third parties

What if someone hacks my account?​

Since we use Steam authentication, your CS2.TEAM account is as secure as your Steam account. Enable Steam Guard for maximum protection.

If you notice suspicious activity, contact us immediately on Discord.
