Account & Profile​

Is CS2.TEAM free?​

Yes! Creating an account and using the core features (finding players, joining teams) is completely free. We offer an optional Pro membership with extra features.

Why do I need to sign in with Steam?​

We use Steam authentication because:

  • No new password to remember
  • We can verify your CS2 stats and rank
  • It prevents fake accounts

Can I change my username?​

Your display name is initially pulled from Steam, but you can customize it in your profile settings.

How do I delete my account?​

Go to Account Settings → Delete Account. This permanently removes all your data from CS2.TEAM.

Finding Teammates​

Why can't anyone see my profile?​

Check that:

  1. Your profile visibility is set to Public
  2. Your Steam profile is public (for stats to sync)
  3. You've completed your profile with basic info

How does matching work?​

We don't have automatic matching. You browse profiles, like players you're interested in, and reach out via Discord. If both players like each other, it's a mutual match!

What does "bumping" my profile do?​

Bumping moves your profile to the top of search results for 24 hours. It's a Pro feature that helps you get seen faster.

Teams​

Can I be on multiple teams?​

Currently, you can only be a member of one team at a time.

What happens if a team owner leaves?​

Team owners must transfer ownership to another member before leaving. If you need to leave urgently, contact support.

Can I change my team's name?​

Yes, team owners and captains can change the team name in team settings.

Technical Issues​

My stats aren't showing​

  1. Make sure your Steam profile is set to Public
  2. Specifically, set Game details to Public in Steam privacy settings
  3. Wait a few minutes for stats to sync
  4. Try refreshing your profile page

I can't log in with Steam​

  1. Make sure you're logged into Steam in your browser
  2. Clear your browser cookies
  3. Try a different browser
  4. Check that Steam's servers are online

The site is slow or not loading​

  1. Try refreshing the page
  2. Clear your browser cache
  3. Check your internet connection
  4. Try a different browser
